Take2?: Bachelor Number 23 – Second date

“Ice cream is going to save the day, again” Muscles

A week after my first date with Bachelor Number 23, it was time for our second date. As agreed, I was shouting him to the best steak in town, at the Norman Hotel. I’d been on quite a few dates there with Carwash in the past, as well as taking Bachelor Number 14 there once before as well. I am a fan of steak! :)

We had agreed to meet there, and when I stepped out of my car, he was just pulling in. Needless to say he was impressed. We hadn’t previously discussed what I drove, so it was interesting to see his reaction in person. He drove THE EXACT SAME CAR AS CARWASH. Same colour, same year, same make same model. The same. I giggled about it to myself as we walked inside.

Our second date was as lovely as the first, and we chatted easily again. Long after we had finished our meals and the plates had been collected. A waitress came up to us for the third time after we’d finished our meals to ask if we wanted a drink or the dessert menu. We politely declined, and she asked what we were up to for the evening. I had a date lined up with another Bachelor that evening, and had told Bachelor Number 23 that I was coming back “With a friend” for dinner, so I responded with, “Well I’ll probably be back here for dinner actually!” and she laughed and said she might see us again then as she walked off.

We weren’t ready to part company, but sitting there being harassed by waitresses wasn’t particularly appealing. I had no idea what we should do though. I sent a text to Macca asking for suggestions that didn’t involve drinking (because we were both driving), and she sent back a list that included bowling, TimeZone?, and mini-golf. But we only had about an hour before I had to go home to get ready for my next date, so he followed me home and he drove us to Bulimba for ice-cream and a walk along the river. His car was exactly the same as Carwash’s inside too. It was a really bizarre feeling.
